training, social events and

working groups

Working groups are the primary means by which the Greater New Orleans Water Collaborative turns expertise and passion into action. Each working group includes practitioners in the field and the community. Through working groups, our members have organized monthly Lunch & Learns about green infrastructure, helped churches and schools build green infrastructure, and reformed local land-use plans and ordinances. Regular social events and all-hands meetings provide networking across these volunteer teams.
