Join us for Our Social Hour Series!
New networking opportunities in the new year…
This year, the Water Collaborative of Greater New Orleans is taking a new approach to our working group meetings with a series of social events and volunteer opportunities. By fostering relationships across disciplines, we will deepen collaboration and increase community capacity for smarter water management with green infrastructure. Deeper learning and more creative solutions result when we integrate the variety of professional skills and personal experiences of our members.
With that goal in mind, our Programs Committee has created a bi-monthly social hour series, where members can not only meet key players across the water sector but also sign up for volunteer projects that most interest them. These social hours are tentatively slated for the first Thursday of every other month starting in February.
The first social hour is scheduled for Wednesday, February 6th from 5-7pm at Urban South Brewery, located at 1645 Tchoupitoulas Street. Engineers Without Borders New Orleans has graciously agreed to host the event, and Urban South has agreed to donate $1 for every pint sold to the Water Collaborative and Engineers Without Borders. Please join us next week for a night of networking and fundraising!
